Who was His father?  In addition to the Holy Spirit, Yahshua did have an Israelite father as well!  The bloodline is preserved by both Mary and Joseph.

Rabbi Shraga Simmons denies Yahshua as the true Messiah for this reason:

The Messiah must be descended on his father’s side from King David (see Genesis 49:10, Isaiah 11:1, Jeremiah 23:5, 33:17; Ezekiel 34:23-24). According to the Christian claim that Jesus was the product of a virgin birth, he had no father – and thus could not have possibly fulfilled the messianic requirement of being descended on his father’s side from King David.

The ignorant rabbi does not know Scripture very well…for two reasons:   1.) None of the verses he quotes state that the Messiah must have a biological father.  These verses only state that He will be a descendant of David, which He was!  Since His mother was a descendant of David, so was He!!  In addition, this is a very strange statement by the “good” rabbi, since Judaism only requires the mother to be Jewish for the child to be Jewish.  This is the actual rabbinical law of the Israeli State!  Why the double standard?  2.)  Rabbi Simmons must not be aware of the law of Levirate Marriage!

5 “If brothers dwell together, and one of them dies and has no son, the wife of the dead man shall not be married outside the family to a stranger. Her husband’s brother shall go in to her and take her as his wife and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her. 6 And the first son whom she bears shall succeed to the name of his dead brother, that his name may not be blotted out of Israel.  – Deut. 25:5.

Because Joseph, husband of Mary, is Yahshua’s LEGAL FATHER, as per the law of Levirate Marriage, Rabbi Simmons is incorrect.  By the Levitical law, Joseph, also a descendant of David, is indeed the father, via Levirate law, of Yahshua; and since both Mary and Joseph are descended from King David, the Jews need to accept the fact that Yahshua is, indeed, THE MESSIAH.

Rabbinical Judaism is a Masoretic crock.  Christian Identity rules!
