ACH (2007) I Ask YOU #4 - Christmas
/

In today’s episode of, “I Ask YOU,” originally broadcast on December 21 2022, Andy presents a show entitled, “Christmas.”

“I Ask YOU,” is a solo show in which you, the audience, can choose to participate. You can do this by answering the questions privately to yourself, or alternatively I invite you to email any answers you wish to share with me directly via my email address, andrewcarringtonhitchcock@hotmail.com, which I may read out on a subsequent show.

Throughout, “I Ask YOU,” I will pose questions that I will answer from my perspective, but which I have written for the purpose of giving you the opportunity to answer for yourselves, in the hope it may provide you with food for thought, that you may not have otherwise considered, had you not heard the questions today.

Today’s Questions:

What are your childhood memories of Christmas?

Are their any traditions you always practice at Christmas, for example attending Nativity Plays, Carol Services, or Pantomimes?

How old were you when you realized Father Christmas wasn’t real?

What was the greatest Christmas present you ever had?

Did the birth of Jesus Christ take a leading role in your childhood Christmases, and if so, how?

What is the best response to a present you gave, that you ever received?

What is the best Christmas you ever had?

Do you send Christmas cards, and if so, to how wide a circle do you send them: family members; friends; work colleagues?

Have you noticed a distinct lack of Christmas cards depicting Jesus Christ in recent years?

Is Christmas an important time in which you remember Jesus Christ?

How has the way in which you celebrate Christmas today changed over the years?
